The plain version of how money moves through this site. The tours and tickets themselves are compared across the Amalfi tickets and things to do in Amalfi pages, and the Amalfi independent guide homepage ties them together.
The short version
Tour and activity cards on this site link to GetYourGuide. Hotel and area links on where to stay in Amalfi go through Stay22, which forwards you to Booking.com, Agoda, or Expedia and pays us a commission on the same terms. If you book after clicking one, the booking platform pays us a commission out of its own operating margin. Your price is identical either way, and clicking costs you nothing extra.
We are not a tour operator, hotel agent, or travel agency. We sell nothing directly, take no payments, and act as nobody's agent.
Who does what
We research, compare listings, and link out. The platform takes your payment, issues your voucher, and handles customer service; the licensed company named on the listing conducts the actual tour, boat charter, or excursion. If a boat is rescheduled due to rough seas or a guide fails to appear, that is resolved between you, the platform, and the operator under their stated policies — we have no standing in that transaction and cannot refund or reschedule any booking.
Monument and church admissions are different. Where the official ticket window is the right place to buy — such as the €3 ticket at the Chiostro del Paradiso / Duomo di Sant'Andrea, the €4.50 Paper Museum ticket, or the €8 Villa Rufolo ticket in Ravello — our pages link directly to the official portal with no tracking and zero commission to us.
What the commission does not buy
Placement, ratings, or wording. Nobody has paid to appear on this site or to be described in a particular way, and no operator reviews or approves a page before it goes live.
The test is on the pages themselves: several of our most important attraction guides explicitly tell you to buy directly at the monument ticket office (which pays us nothing), and recommend skipping an overpriced reseller package. Where a guided tour or private boat charter offers genuine value, we explain why — guaranteed boat departure slots, skip-the-queue group access, or specialized historical commentary.
Ratings and reviews
Every rating and review count displayed on a tour card is the booking platform's own published figure, verified on the check date printed beside it. We calculate no private ratings of our own, this site carries no fabricated aggregate review score in its schema markup, and we write no synthetic testimonials. Quoted reviews are short excerpts kept as published, attributed to verified customers on the platform.
Prices
Tour prices shown here represent the lowest adult tariff on the listing at our last check, and monument tickets reflect the official rate on the institution's official site. Both fluctuate: platforms reprice dynamically and Italian regional museums adjust tariffs seasonally. The binding figure is the one shown on the checkout page before you pay. When it disagrees with ours, the checkout is right and we would like to know.
The nightly hotel rates on the accommodation guide represent sample mid-season rates to help you compare towns (Amalfi vs. Atrani vs. Positano vs. Ravello). They are not a binding quote and will vary with your specific travel dates.
